Lachlan Ross
is a storyteller.

Originally from Canberra, Australia, Lachlan is now based in Vancouver, Canada.

A former journalist and college basketball player, he specialises in telling long-form sports stories. As the founding director of LGR Productions, Lachlan directs and produces content for a range of elite athletes and sports organisations including the NBA and Basketball Australia.

Career highlights have included directing NBA features on Jamal Murray, Josh Giddey, and Efe Abogidi, which were broadcast on ESPN; working with Steph Curry while covering NBA Japan Games in Tokyo; and being selected for NBA Films For Fans, a global initiative engaging filmmakers from 11 countries, to represent the Asia region scripting, pitching, and completing a short film ‘Something’s Cooking in the Capital’, which premiered at a red carpet event in Utah at NBA All Star Weekend 2023.

In 2023, Lachlan is set to release his first two feature-length documentaries Go Big and The Southpaw Project.
